Inside: Adorable crafts for teen girls that are too cute not to make.

Crafting is one of my favorite past times. I was lucky enough to find it as a young adult, but I have always wished I had come across it sooner. It has helped my mental health and given me a goal to work towards, and I have so much fun doing it.

So today, I wanted to share that with all you teen ladies out there. I have created a list of the coolest crafts for teen girls that will help you to express yourself creatively while also improving your skills. There are so many options out there that you would have never thought of, so I just had to bring them to your attention!

Crafts for Teen Girls

You can make these crafts for yourself, or you can make them for someone you love. I think doing a mix of both is perfect. I got in the habit of only making things for other people, and it started to feel like a job. Always make yourself something every once in a while, at least.

Okay, enough rambling on my part; take a look through these ideas and see which ones make your heart happy.

Easy Crafts for Teen Girls

For this first list, I thought I would get the broad, obvious crafts out of the way. I went ahead and explained some of them that you may not have heard of, but for the rest, I think you get the picture. They are the tried and true classics that will never disappoint.

You can continuously practice each to get better and better at your craft with time. So take a look!

1. Drawing

2. Painting

3. Melted Wax Crafts – Get a canvas and a whole pack of crayons. Glue them to the top of it and use a hair dryer to melt them downwards to create a wax splatter art. Super cute!

4. Legos

5. Bracelet Making – You can make bracelets out of so many things, from pipe cleaners to thread.

6. Paint Pots

7. Mug Decorating – You can use a sharpie and draw designs onto a mug, then you bake it in an oven low and slow for a while and it because permanent. How cool!

8. DIY Bookmarks – There are so many things that you can turn into a bookmark. Make something useful out of something destined for the trash.

9. Peg Board Art  – This is better known as yarn art. To achieve this, you take a wooden board and nail down some nails in a pattern you like(for example, a heart), and then you use string and tie it from each to another until it’s a solid cute design.

10. Paint with Natural Things – Many natural things have deep pigments that you can use to paint. Things like black tea, turmeric, and many others will come together to create an all-natural art piece.

11. Up Cycling – Go to your local thrift store to find items you can use to make something new.

12. Scrap Booking
